Movies From This Past Week

I went to watch the Lego movie with David this past Monday the 17th. I'm probably one of the few people who didn't like it. I was annoyed throught the first part and because of that I decided I would just sleep. Good thing I don't have tobpay for my movies. No money spent. Just time.I think the reason why I didn't like the movie is because I've never had any interest in Lego and never owned or played with them. Oh well. I was still a happy kid with My Little Pony :-) and still am. Happy girl, women, person!

On Tuesday 18th. I went and hung out with mom and dad near their work place.be went to watch Robocop at the Marina 6. It was a nice dine in theatre. We had food delievered to our seats and watched the movie in our comfy reclining seats. I definetely really liked this movie. It was entertaining and even though I was tired and didn't fall asleep. :-) The music was also awesome, just like in the original one.

February Pony Merchandise

I just got some new pony merchandise in the mail today. Yay. I got the 3rd season of My Little Pony :-) a pony lanyard, key cap and a pony bag pack. I might end up using the bag pack as my purse and just wear it. Who cares what others think, I can wear what I want to. :-D

Here's serenity in the picture completely. She wants all the attention :-)

February 12, 2008 -----> 2014!

So it's been 6 years since I met David my boy. :-) It's been a loooong time since then. But in a way it doesn't feel like it. Haha. We met at The Grove. I used to live in Koreatown at that time. I remember walking around the Grove and he decided to get dinner. I just watched him eat. I was too embarrassed to eat in front of him. LOL. We also ended up getting Starbucks. I bought him a hot chocolate... all because I wanted change for the bus. I was the first in buying something for the other. Yay! I win. Haha.

We dated for a bit until he had to leave and go back home. Family stuff. We didn't get together until he came back from Connecticut about a year and a half later. During that whole time I waited and waited for him to come back. I didn't want to be with anyone else because I didn't want my future self to think back to the past and wondered "what if I had waited?". :-) I'm glad I waited, even though I felt horrible and lonely.

In July of this year it will be 4 years for us. I don't know what exact day we got together... but it's a whole month celebration to me! :-]

4 Day Weekend or Free Weekend!

It's wasn't a holiday and I had a 4 day weekend. Woo hoo. I had from Thursday - Sunday off. It was nice. On Thursday it was national froyo day. Menchie's had 6 ounces free all day long. What a deal! I went in the morning at 11:30am and there was no line. I had the place all to my self. Later in the day I hung out with Cliffy and got more froyo. Awesome day for free stuff. It was also raining... rain that L.A. needs :-]

Well aside from that this weekend was pretty much free food weekend. David and I went to Brand 158. A new fancy and nice place across for the americana. We go in and get out menus and as I'm reading I notice, "NO TIPS ACCEPTED," printed on it. Wow. I've never been to a restaurant where no tips are accepted. The prices are a little high but I can see why they say no tips. We order our dinner, I get a salmon dish while David gets a crab ravioli dish. We also got some alcoholic drinks. Mine was coffee. It was about 6-10 minutes and Dave's dish comes out. We were like, whoa! That was fast. Sadly his dish was not warm, it was actually cold. Dave let a person in charge know that the dish was cold and if they could fix it. They were so confused and took the plate back. In the meantime, I got my dinner and it was really tasty, salmon with tomatoes, mangoes and quinoa. Once David got his dish back the guy who brought it said we didn't have to worry about paying for this. It was a big deal since the food cost $23 dollars. They kept apologizing but Dave kept saying "it's okay no big deal, it happens."

We ended up ordering dessert and another drink just to make up for the comped dish. We both got ice cream which was really good. I got dulce de leche and Dave got double mint chocolate... something like that. Haha. It was time for us to leave and we asked for the check. We got out check and probably one of the people in charge comes to us and apologized again. They comped Dave's dish but now the guy gave us $40 dollars in gift cards. We got 2 gift cards with $20 dollars on each card. WOW. It really wasn't a bid deal but I guess to them it was. The guy even offered us a pizza to take home with us... but we said "no." That was too much already. Haha. I guess they just wanted everything to go perfect.

On Sunday David and I went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. David had to use his crutches because he re-injured his foot. We had fun exploring the aquarium and petting sharks, manta rays, etc. I loved poking the sharks... hehe. It was funny. After a we hours of being there we decided it was home time and also time to get food. I decided I wanted kabob. So we found a kabob place in Downtown Long Beach near the place we parked the car for free :-) We went to Fresh Kabobs. I ordered a Kabob wrap which came with 2 wraps, so we decided to share. I also ordered bastami rice. We waited about 5 minutes and our food was ready. But when we got our order, the rice was perfect but when I looked to see for a kabob wrap, it wasn't there. Instead it was just a kabob meal with rice. "Uh." We told the guy who served us that we got a kabob wrap. He went into the kitchen and talked to someone and then started making stuff. We waited a few minutes and the guy made the original kabob wrap. He apologized about the mistake but let us have the other dish as well. HAHA. What? another free item? Yup. It happened again. :-)

So this weekend consisted of slight mistakes and free food for us. Not too bad. We didn't ask for it but it happened.

Until the next one...
